Is cannabis legal?

In NY in the 1970s there was an alleged epidemic of crime that was attributed to drug addiction. In response draconian drug laws were passed giving long mandatory sentences to people caught using a dealing drugs. Sentences of 30 to life were commonplace. Of course this filled up the prisons quickly and there were a huge number of minorities convicted.

Us humans are controlled by the government... I don't see why though. I understand most laws but still. If someone wants to be a stupid crack head.. Why can't they be one ? If anyone is indicited for drugs, tax evasion, gun crimes, etc there is a much better chance the defendent will be aquitted and there is also a much better chance that there are business owners who are willing to hire people to work under the table.

In past presidential elections, libertarians only got 10,000 votes in PA. Ron Paul did in 1988 and Harry Browne did in 1996 and 2000.

I was placed on probation aprox. 2 years ago (of possessing around $6 dollars worth of Marijuana, I will be 18 in 6 months after I am 18 I will legally be off probation, Will I have to see my PO on my 18th birthday?

Even though (in total) I would have been on probation for (around) 3 years (Alabama drug laws are harsh) my P. O. has never drug tested me or ever called ...

I have a friend who violated his probation in MD. Got caught up in some mess in VA he had enough drugs on him that they want to give him a drug kingpin charge how long is he facing?? Is there a lawyer that can get him off and how much??

In this case Smith and a friend joined a company were they were not aloud to use any non-prescription drugs. They were both part of the Native American Church and part of it was using Peyote, they were fired for it. They claimed the 1st against the company.

The company fired them for using the drug/violation of a law of Oregon,
