Robo copy, WIn 7, folder permissions on external drive?

Postby boyce » Sat May 19, 2012 2:03 pm

I started using robocopy to backup my files. I ran a test script and it worked and didn't. I saw the backup folder it created on my external drive. I noticed a few of the folders i wanted to backup, but not a few others including My Documents.I assumed it was a script errors. Wrong. I edited the script down to just backing up my documents. I cleared everything off the external drive. Ran my script as Admin.Robocopy showed everything, and the total was just over 16 gigs backed up. I accessed the external drive, see my backup folder, check its properties, 16 gigs. Open folder, its empty.Checked and redid security for that folder because i had to run the script as admin. My user account already had admin right. Why cant i see the My Documents folder or any files??
