The baby of my friend died in the hospital because of neglect of the nurses..

Yes they should file a case against the hospital and all of the nurses and doctors who's in their duty that day. Having a slow process of justice here is also bad reality. But i hope that everything will go well to your friend even it's really hard for them.

This just broke me, how could the hospital not care enough to help them? I can't imagine how they must feel but I am sure they are going through hell right now. Your friend should not blame himself, he had nothing to do with his daughters death. I say they sue the hospital, this is something that they should not let go, it was immoral and wrong of the hospital to ignore her plea to help her daughter. I'm really sorry for the loss. It's just to sad. I hope justice will be done somehow. There should be a good lawyer who can help them in this case. I will keep them in my prayers.

It is really a sad incident being happened to ur friend...i am really feeling very bad for her.....yes i feel that she should sue the hospital as it was negligence on their part not to take care of the child even when the patient called for their assistance..this will make hospital staff realise for their act and they will not repeat it in the future....so go ahead and support your friend....

i would sue the hell out of them!!! i would be so mad! if that ever happened to my son i would be screaming at the nurses to help him. i would make a huge scene and cause all sorts of trouble. at least then securty would be called and they could see what the nurses were doing. a doctor would have to come out and see what all the screaming was about! and if my son died right there in my arms, that nurse would have a messed up face! no one takes my son away from me and if they did hell would be paid. sorry that just makes me so mad on how a nurse, someone who is supossed to help people, can just sit there and do nothing. i would have done everything, call a doctor, give oxygen, put a tube down her throat if needed just so she could breath.

Did you what happened in kerala recently, in a hospital in the capital of kerala about 26 babies died per month for the last 2 month. And no one did anything about it, and recently when an investigation was started they found out that the babies who had been kept in te ICU unit had contracted a disease from there. Imagine that ,the place where they were supposed to recover kills them.

I am rally sorry to hear this. In my country it happens most of the time in gov hospitals. Not only that happens also in good Nursing Homes.I think the doctors and nurses in hospitals really don't bother about the patients. Most of all in publixc hospitals. they just play with the innocent lives.

I cried the night I heard the news that the 9-month old baby daughter of my friend died in the hospital because of the neglect of the nurses on duty..My friend and his wife really were at a loss and at the same time really mad.They rushed their baby to the hospital 3 days before because the baby has a high fever.My friend was not financially well-off so they were able to send the baby to a public hospital because it is much cheaper. On the 2nd day, the baby was doing ok and has recovered her strength already and able to play with her dad.HOwever, the doctors decided to let the baby stay for one more day to observe her condition. On the 3rd day, the mom was with the baby when she noticed that the baby was having a hard time breathing so she called the nurse on duty to help her and find out what's wrong. The nurses on duty did not care and just glanced at the baby saying "it's alright,there's nothing wrong." The mom was already frantic and carried the baby and running down the hospital hall looking for a doctor or nurse but none of the nurses even bothered to help her or the baby. After a few minutes, the baby died already.. My friend was really mad and depressed at the same time. He keeps on blaming himself that he was not rich so he wasnt able to have his daughter be treated in a private hospital wherein she could have gotten better treatment and then she wouldnt have to die.. At the same time, they were really mad at the hospital because many nurses witnessed the incident but no one bothered to respond or help the baby. They are thinking of suing the hospital for neglect, not because they want some money to be compensated to them, but mainly because they want some justice for their baby girl..Do you think they should file this case or are they just prolonging their agony if they sue? Because justice system in our country is really not that good especially since they are not really rich.The case may take time, months or even years without a result.

these things are why women go crazy and do bad thing did you know that the persent of women in person for mrder is higher that that of men much higher but to the point I fell so sad for them as I don't know what I would do if I lost my son she should sue I know there must be some rich erson who would like to help for one she should at least seek free legal advice

i can't even begin to tell you how sick that ames me. i know full well how much nurses negelct patients. i was in the hospital for 2 years after a car accident nearly took my life. So many more problems arose than ever would have due to poor nursing. Your friends have to make the decision to sue on their own. Nobody can tell them what to do in this situation. i have no idea what the justice system is like there. Perhaps your friends should speak to a lawyer about what they can expect out of a lwsuit before they make the decision to sue or not. i wish them the best of luck and offer my most sincere condolences.

thank you xfallenxlost.. unfortunately, the justice system here in our country seems to work only for the rich people..if you are poor and you file a lawsuit, most of the time, either you lose or the case will drag on for years and years without results..
