Is Mr Obama using other people's pensions to reward the UAW?

Putting their claim as bondholder subservient to the UAW contrary to all known bankruptcy law and precedents? (i.e. the Indiana Pension Fund of all those firefighters & police officers that are suing in the U.S. Supreme Court)

How long does Chapter 7 stay on Credit Report if FILED in JAN 03?

I have always thought that if a Chapter 7 was filed "Prior" to all the Bankruptcy Laws changing they would be ok. My question is--If someone Files a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in January 2003 and it's Discharged in February 2003.

Since this now 7-years shouldn't this be removed from a person's credit Report?

With Ohio new bankruptcy laws, can I foreclose on my home for maintenance reason and keep my exc. credit rate?

I would consider discussing a deed in lieu of foreclosure with the lender. It will hurt your credit but you won't have filed a bankruptcy case.

Right now, lots of foreclosures are pending and lenders seem to be relatively understanding, especially in states like Ohio which have been hard hit economically.

I was told that by filing chapter 7 bankruptcy, I would be able to "wipe out" or be protected from having to pay the difference that is owed on the car after it goes to auction. From my understanding, Chap. 7, I would be able to leave out certain items, like my credit cards that have all been paid ...

How can there be such an obvious loophole in landlord-tenant laws?

I have a rental in Utah and my tenants stopped paying rent back in July. They fed me lies to stall the eviction saying things like their parents are getting a loan and the rich brother will come along and help them out. I finally had enough of their stories and gave them the eviction notice. When they didn't leave, I hired a lawyer to file a judgement against them. Then that's when they filed ...
