I have a idea on a new business that would be all online and I need to make sure I protect my idea from others until I can get it up and running. I am not sure if I do a copyright, trademark, or patent. Can I fully protect the idea with one of those, and does anybody know a good attorney that could help me with this? I want to do a purse with special things on it, and no one has it anywhere (and sorry don't want to give it out for fear of copycat) and was wondering do I HAVE to HAVE a patent, and license. It would be a purse for making life easiter and convenient. No special names, or trademarks or logos necessary.

I own a trademarked brand that is listed with the united states patent and trademark office. A group made a song name the same as my trademark and its on itunes and there cd, plus they have a video with them wearing out branded products.

Is this legal, dont they have to pay royalties or have permission?
